Alex Nikolashin representing architectural studio SL * project, designed a two-story penthouse in the prestigious residential complex Wine House in Moscow.

The two-storey, two-colored apartment with a terrace was more like a country house. The architects had to make this atypical for capital space into a harmonious, cozy and bright accommodation for quite the experienced person, who is well versed in modern design and is interested in art.

The area of the penthouse is 180 square meters, so working on an interesting staircase, which has become one of the main wishes of the customer, it was important to design it correctly, without taking up too much space, without weighing the complex space and tying it into a coherent whole. She was supposed to perform at the same time emphasis in the interior and still air, weightless. The result is a white metal construction with a floating steps.

The brief of the customer as the presence of the three bedrooms has been identified - the main and two guest. Master bedroom is located next to the terrace, where beautiful views of the Moskva River and the Kremlin. Then immediately attracts the attention of all-glass bathroom. This solution has allowed to combine the space: light comes into the room with four sides. Guest rooms with en suite are designed with one on each floor, with one of them flows into the living space thanks to glazing and turning sipes.

Typically, apartments are not required hallways and fence off one area from another. In this case, input immediately turned into a common space, so architect again resorted to the use of rotary slats that separate the entrance door of the total area. If they turn, they turn into a blank wall if set at an angle - it turns out an interesting pattern.

Line the ceiling on the first level - architectural decoration, functional object and a giant lamp with built-in dimmer. In the off-state design resembles a modern pergola and switched lights.
